Hewlett Summer Project Showcase and DiLL Launch Event

The Multimedia Learning Center invites university faculty and staff to attend an important launch and showcase event featuring projects created in the context of the Hewlett Summer Internship Program.

Tuesday, January 11
Kresge 1-375 (formerly 52)
3:30 to 5 p.m.

The wide-ranging projects were the result of summer-long collaborations between student interns, NU staff and faculty from the departments of Art, French and Italian, German, Physics, and the Program of African and Asian Languages.

This year, particular emphasis will be placed on the launch of DiLL: the Digital Language Lab, a collaborative network-based language learning system. The DiLL environment provides many convincing benefits and new features over older analog approaches.

Please join us for refreshments and a look at these innovative teaching tools.

Feel free to pass this invitation along to others in your department who might be interested in attending!
